As a recent MFA graduate in Fashion Design from the Fashion Institute of Technology, with a BFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, I offer a strong foundation in womenswear development along with a passion for craftsmanship, storytelling, and innovative design.

Throughout my academic and professional journey, I have built a robust skill set in patternmaking, technical flats, garment construction, and textile manipulation. I work fluently in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and Clo3D, and I’m confident in translating design concepts into detailed tech packs and production-ready specifications. I’m equally at home with handcraft techniques, including 3D embellishment, hand knitting, and crocheting, which I often incorporate into my designs to give each piece a unique dimension and tactile richness.

During my internship at Prabal Gurung, I collaborated closely with pattern makers and tailors to finalize looks for upcoming collections, participated in fittings, conducted quality checks, and assisted in production coordination. This hands-on experience solidified my understanding of the technical process behind high-end womenswear, while reinforcing the importance of precision and collaboration.

In addition to my technical abilities, I bring a multi-disciplinary background—from fashion journalism to event production—and a deep interest in the social and emotional narratives that garments can hold. I recently partnered with the Women's Studio Workshop to produce accessories from leftover fabrics, merging sustainable practice with design storytelling—an approach I hope to continue developing in my future work.

Fluent in Mandarin and English, with working knowledge of French and Japanese, I bring a global perspective, strong communication skills, and an eagerness to grow with a thoughtful and inspiring design team.
